Reception Table Arrangement

So in a weird twist of fate, the owners of our reception site, Lovin’ Cup, are in the midst of planning their own wedding, too! It has actually proven to be a big help for us, in that Leslie (who we are primarily working with) has been able to bring up aspects of the reception that we had not previously thought about. During our last meeting with her, we started discussing the table arrangements and decorations: Did we want to have our dinner set up inside or outside? We all agreed that as long as the weather was permitting, we definitely wanted to set up outside. Ceremony “Altar”

Although we’re not standing at an official altar to take our vows, we did want to have some sort of pretty background to stand in front of. Columns, gauze, huge vases full of flowers, they just aren’t for us. The way our “aisle” is naturally arranged, it makes the most sense for us to stand at the corner of our garage. Just to the right of us will be our two large, white hydrangea bushes, and to the left of us is the blank slate of the the side of the garage, which I will get to our plans for that shortly. We had some unseasonably beautiful weather a few weeks back, nearly 80 degrees for several days, which spurred a lot of our plants to begin sprouting!
